Globalized Sri Lankan Consumer

I selected to related our subject topic Globalized Sri Lankan Consumer, firstly I would like to mention about what globalization, Globalization is The worldwide movement toward economic , financial , trade, and communication integrated.
Globalization implies the opening of local and nationalistic perspective to a broader outlook of an interconnected and interdependent world with free transfer of capital, goods, and service across national frontiers. However, it does not include unhindered movement of labor and, as suggested by some economist, may hurt smaller or fragile economics if applied indiscriminately. And also consumer is a person who buys good and services for his/her own use
Nowadays lot of customer used internet and social media then they are getting decision from their buying pattern. Today trend in use internet compare the product and service their competitor goods and service. Customers can search and buy the product wherever have in the world. And they have to compare the price of the competitor product. But this system is use in posh crowd and educated customer.
And also rural customers are globalized in present economic situation. Many products are imported. Most of the prevailing players in the fast moving consumer goods industry are multinationals. Therefore most of the goods consumed by consumers rural or urban may be globally recognized brands. Therefore even rural consumers though they do not have internet facilities are globalized consumers.
Customer everyday using FB and other search engine before the buying their consumer goods therefore I think sir Lankan consumers are globalized and also nowadays consumer are educated and awareness then Internet can be seen as an addiction today. Consider us, whatever we here about a good or service we tend to Google it and search for information. Hence we can also say that consumers are addicted to find information before making decisions.
I stop my article and you think Sri Lankan customers are globalized or not??????
